medical nutrition therapy (MNT) through outpatient
nutritional counseling services. MNT promotes optimal
health through diet. Each counseling session is tailored to
individual needs and goals. The dietitian will help you
attain your goals in a way that fits your lifestyle.

- Eating well when dining out
- Selecting a diet to meet your nutritional needs

scheduling an appointment to determine whether
your visit will be covered.

If insurance does not cover your visit, you are
responsible for all charges. Chestnut Hill Hospital
offers a payment plan that allows you to make
payments over an extended period of time. One-hour
consults are approximately $80.

Medicare Part B covers nutrition counseling for
patients diagnosed with diabetes or non-dialysis
kidney disease.
